SUPERGirls COVID-19 Research

As the world watches, we are experiencing an alarming rate of deaths in Black and Hispanic communities across Harris County due to health, education, transportation, race, and economic disparities that run deep and across generations. According to our 2020 Summer research, the average number of deaths due to COVID-19 across Houston and Harris County continues to rise and as of September 15, 2020, 78% have occurred in these populations, according to Harris county leaders. Therefore, our aim and focus are regarding the likelihood of saving additional lives.
